Gareth will be showing the Khaya Cabinet at PAD London as part of Sarah Myerscough’s show ‘Chamber.’ Chamber speaks to the abundance of the earth from which the artist-designer-makers sustainably source and grow their materials: clay, wood, grasses, and metals. It also expresses the intimacy of a place made entirely our own, inhabited by furniture and objects crafted with respect and material intelligence.

This unique cabinet is crafted from commercial industry waste and off-cuts of Khaya. The piece is a contemporary rewriting of the possibilities of fine veneer furniture, celebrating the imperfections and irregularities of the re-purposed timber.
