Crafts Magazine Talk | Rescue Mission - which endangered crafts should we save?

Join Crafts magazine from 5.30-6.45pm on Monday 24 January for an online talk on endangered crafts.

Making traditions are an inherent part of our collective heritage, but as society and technology advances, some inevitably become at risk of dying out. How do we decide what’s an essential part of our culture and what criteria do we judge this on? And what lessons can traditional making practices teach us for the future?

This Crafts magazine talk will seek to answer some of these questions with the help of a panel of makers and experts, including myself, Robin Wood, co-founder of the Heritage Crafts Association; glass and neon artist Katherine Huskie and architect and designer Dima Srouji. It will be chaired by Crafts editor Malaika Byng.
