Brodgar Collection
The Brodgar furniture collection is the product of a collaboration between Gareth Neal, and traditional Orkney chair maker Kevin Gauld. Gareth worked directly with Kevin, who was born and bred on the remote islands of Orkney and fostered an incredible collaboratory process that resulted in designs that respond to their local surroundings and slow way of life.
The Brodgar Occasional Chair was acquired by the V&A Museum in London and is on permanent display in the Furniture Gallery alongside two beautifully crafted traditional Orkney chairs.
