A solid oak table was designed and made using digital fabrication technology, demonstrating the subtle textures that can be produced by machines. Shown here at Chatsworth House in association with Sotheby’s alongside our Hamylin Chairs.
“We were looking to commission a table for our living room and having initially seen Gareth’s work in a book – we thought that his style was exactly what we wanted. The setup was thoughtful – he insisted that we should see some of his work and meet him to get a sense of how we might work together. The whole experience was great for us, while we gave him as much creative freedom as we could, it was an iterative process and through it, we learned so much about his approach and his careful attention to his craft.
