Initially approached by Linley’s design director Carmel Allen, designer-makers Chris Eckersley and Gareth Neal were introduced to Monsignor Jim Curry who was looking for design ideas for the re-ordering of the church Sanctuary of Our Lady of Victories in Kensington, London. From there began a unique opportunity for in-depth research into ancient crafts, historical furnishings and the original architect Adrian Gilbert Scott. Over the last 2 years, they have worked on the creation of original pieces, collaborating with the UK’s leading craftsmen in wood, brass, and stone. Through these collaborations they pay homage to the historical linearage of these crafts and materials. The result is a contemporary sanctuary for a modern Parish.

The project was completed to coincide with London Design Festival 2017. The church welcomes everyone and is open to public but please refer to the website to check when services are taking place.
